Community Trainings and Resources are essential for fostering knowledge sharing, skill development, and collaboration within a community. These initiatives aim to provide individuals with the necessary tools and resources to enhance their abilities and contribute to the community's growth. These trainings and resources are shared by experienced community members and leaders who are willing to share their expertise.
Many local organizations provide or offer trainings and resources. The type of training and resource has been organized into the nine focus areas of United Way WRC. Additional recommended trainings and resources have been provided below.
A key goal of United Way WRC is to help build the capacity of our local social sector to strengthen our community. The Community Trainings and Resources Hub is a direct response to a request from many organizations through grant application feedback. We are also offering some of these trainings listed below virtually and in person at low to no cost throughout the year.
